Winding River Golf Course is a picturesque 18-hole championship layout, located on the city’s southwest side, and just minutes from the Indianapolis International Airport. Winding River G.C. offers a taste of the south with beautiful rolling terrain and breathtaking backdrops. Tree lined fairways and protected Audubon nature areas give this course a unique country feel although it’s only minutes from downtown!!
Winding River is more than just a golf course, It is a place to escape from everyday life. It features 18 holes of sheer beauty, from the tree lined fairways to the rolling terrain that makes you feel like you have left Indiana for the day. Don’t have time for 18 holes we offer 9 hole packages as well as a large practice facility complete with driving range, short game area, and putting green. We also offer a full service pro shop that offers all the top brands from the top manufacturers of apparel, equipment, shoes, and golf balls.

Junior Programs
Spring First Tee Program – Saturdays in April & May. Beginner & Intermediate Junior Golfers Ages 6-17. A perfect program to prepare for PGA Jr League this summer. First Tee enables kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges through the game of golf.
PGA Jr League Program – Fridays in June & July. Beginner & Intermediate Junior Golfers Ages 6-17. Fun Teams is the heart and soul of PGA Jr League. Kids play on teams in a scramble format, with personalized jerseys, supporting and learning from one another to develop skills on and off the course.

Adult Golf Schools
Public Access April Golf School – Saturday April 8th 2pm – 4pm. Titleist Professionals join the Indy Academy April Golf School. Enjoy the perks our Academy Members receive during this special event. Professional club fitting joins PGA Coaching for our best pricing on both Clubs and PGA Coaching: Any club purchased receives an automatic 5% discount and an additional $100 off!
Public Access April Golf School Registration
Womens April Golf School – Saturday April 15th 2pm – 4pm. Designed for Beginner to Intermmediate Golfer. A fun welcoming atmosphere to find more confidence in yourself, comfort on the course, and networking with new golfing buddies. This gaming format helps us learn in a productive fun way.
